Weight Watchers Recipe: Spanish Shrimps Recipe from Mrs. Dash®
Ingredients
1 lb large shrimp, shelled and deveined
1 Tbsp Mrs. Dash® Original Blend
1 Tbsp unsalted butter
1 clove garlic, minced
3 sprays cooking oil spray
1/2 cup Spanish onion, thinly sliced
1/2 cup red onion, thinly sliced
3 large tomatoes, chopped
1 Tbsp Mrs. Dash® Extra Spicy Seasoning Blend
Instructions
Dry shrimp with paper towel, place on a plate and sprinkle with Mrs. Dash® Original Blend. Add butter to large skillet and heat to bubbling; add garlic and shrimp. Saúte 3 to 4 minutes or until shrimp are opaque. Remove shrimp and set aside; cover to keep warm.
Turn off heat and add cooking oil spray to same skillet. Sauté onions over heat until tender. Add tomatoes and season with Mrs. Dash® Extra Spicy to taste. Cook over moderate heat, stirring occasionally, 3 to 5 minutes. Add shrimp and heat for 1 minute.
Serving Suggestion: Serve over rice garnished with fresh lemon slices (NOT included in the POINTS® values). Yields 4 servings.
