Welcome to 'Tweightloss' - Team 'The Twinners': Tweigh-in Day Edition #1

Yes, I signed up for yet another weight loss challenge. I can picture all of your eye-rolls now - but seriously! I need help. After a few years of being on this weight loss journey I've been discouraged and disappointed that my weight number has been INCREASING lately instead of you know - DECREASING. And thinking about that just makes me angry. And sick to my stomach. It's a vicious cycle, no?

You see, I'm an emotional eater. I've discussed this before. And not only that, I tend to let myself fall off the wagon if I'm not 100% focused and dedicated. I can't have 'just a little bit' here and there and keep moving forward. One taste of something sinful and it's over. You know as in 'all bets are off'. I also can't 'cheat' on the weekends, or treat myself to whatever I want. I have to maintain good eating habits on a daily basis, from sun-up to sun-down. NO DOUBT ABOUT IT. So I joined 'Tweightloss'. What is it you ask?

It officially kicked off on Monday, July 28th. Yes, I know, I didn't post anything about it; but whatever. For 12 weeks , me and other 'twitter-folk' are going to inspire each other and get each other moving and losing. Everyone is on a 'team' (hence Team Twinners), with a Team Leader and we are all going to help each other along with tips and advice. Each Monday we weigh in, or as we will be calling it Tweigh-in Day. The team who has lost the most amount of weight will be the week winner!

So today's' the day - I'm Tweigh'ing In.

I started off at 186 pounds last Monday. And today? I'm down to 184 pounds.

Oh, and my goals! I can't leave those out. Since this challenge runs for 12 weeks, I've set a goal for myself of losing 1 pound a week + 3 which is a total of FIFTEEN POUNDS. A challenge for sure, but totally do-able.

That is if I put my mind to it. The challenge is on! Wish me luck!

SJ, you are doing great and I don't know about your past challenges, but you ARE going to be successful this time around! We are all in this together.
